Alan relaunched Chateaubriant at the start of October 2020. After closing the cafe for just three days for refurbishment. But they were solid days. An Army of 125 local friends, customers and supporters worked tirelessly around the clock, scraping, cleaning and painting to ensure the cafe re-opened on time.
